Lucklio ("we", "us", or "our") operates lucklio.com — a collection of free online tools. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep this simple because we genuinely collect very little.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Data you provide

Lucklio has no user accounts, no registration, and no forms that collect personal information. You do not need to give us your name, email, or any other personal data to use any tool on this site.

2.2 Data collected automatically

When you visit Lucklio, the following may be collected automatically:

  • Usage analytics — via Google Analytics 4, we collect anonymized data about page views, session duration, device type, and country. IP addresses are anonymized. This helps us understand which tools are popular and how to improve the site.
  • Cookies — Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish sessions. Google Ads (when active) may set cookies for ad personalization. See Section 4 for details.
  • Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance purposes. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not shared.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To understand how visitors use the site and improve it
  • To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense (when active)
  • To detect and prevent abuse or security incidents

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.

Since we collect minimal personal data and have no user accounts, most requests can be fulfilled by clearing your browser cookies and disabling analytics via your browser settings.

7. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. We do not store any user-generated content (tool inputs such as names entered in the Name Picker, calculator values, or unit conversions are never sent to our servers — all processing happens in your browser). The only exception is the Currency Converter, which sends a currency code to ExchangeRate-API to fetch current rates — no personal data is included.

8. Children's Privacy

Lucklio is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
