How to use the Dice Roller
Select your die type — D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, or D20 — then choose how many dice to roll (1–10). Hit Roll and the results appear instantly. Each die shows its individual value, and the total is displayed at the bottom. Press Roll again for a fresh throw.
No setup, no account, no waiting. The roller works on any device with a browser — phone, tablet, or desktop.
When to use an online dice roller
Physical dice get lost, roll under the sofa, or just aren't available when you need them. An online roller is always in your pocket and covers every die type you could need:
- →Tabletop RPGs — D&D, Pathfinder, and other systems rely on D4 through D20. Roll attack, damage, and saving throws without digging through your dice bag.
- →Board games— if you're missing a die or playing a game that calls for an unusual size, use the digital roller instead.
- →Teachers and classrooms — roll a D6 to assign groups, pick a question number, or add randomness to any activity.
- →Decision-making — assign options to numbers and let the dice decide. Works like a Wheel Spinner but with numbers.
Which die should you use?
The D6 (standard six-sided die) is the most universal — it's what every board game uses. The D20 is the signature die of Dungeons & Dragons, used for nearly every action check. D8, D10, and D12 appear most often for weapon damage in RPGs. The D4 is the smallest range and is used for light weapons or small modifiers.
